Fifth post from the ATP Winsotn-Salem coverage. I know, should have done it long ago. But with the US Open ascendancy, I was distracted.
Trying to recall. Majority of my day was spent watching second round matches between Frances Tiafoe and Thomaz Bellucci and Thanasi Kokkinakis vs Teymuraz Gabashvili.
The 17 year old American was up a break in the final set (if my memory is good), but couldn't hold on to his advantage. He ended up losing 7-6(2) in the third set to the Brazilian No.6 seed.

Trying to catch a glimpse anyway they can. |

It was difficult to get a shot of the players (Frances Tiafoe) |
Sam Groth, known for supporting his fellow Aussies, was at the Thanasi Kokkinakis match.
|
I spent 10 mins trying to read Groth's tattoo, still couldn't figure it out. |
Teymuraz Gabashvili (a.k.a the ball basher) played an amazing final tiebreak to take the match 7-6(5) 6-7(5) 7-6(3).

Before I left, saw a little bit of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Denis Istomin. Tsonga ended up winning 5-7 6-4 6-1.

Last match of the day on center court. |
